MUSLIMS IN ISIOLO MARK IDD-AL-ATHA

Muslim Faithful in Isiolo today converged to mark ID -AL- ADHA with prayers. After the prayers a section of the Muslim leaders called for peace sharing and accountability from those in elected government positions.

Sheikh Hassan Ismail called on all Muslims to share with the less fortunate in the society. He called them to observe good values and not to engage in sin during the celebrations.

Sheikh Hassan also called on elected leaders to be accountable to their elected duties. He also said politicians should put aside their differences to work for the people.

Hassan Abdikadil and activist called on Isiolo leaders to observe integrity and called on all leaders to stop insulting and using foul language.

Abdikadil was referring to recent incidence which Isiolo governor publicly insulted the senator during a public event to mark Madaraka day.

He called on Muslim to observe peace and also be mindful of those suffering especially those in Gaza where there is war and war crimes have been vented on innocent people.
