TENSION AFTER WOMAN AND FOUR CHILDREN DIE IN FIRE, AFTER HOUSE WAS TORCHED IN SUSPECTED LOVE TRIANGLE, SUSPECT KILLED AND LYNCHED BY PUBLIC

Residents of Bulapesa in Isiolo town woke up to the shocking news that a woman and her four children had been burnt alive in their home.

The fire which started at midnight destroyed the house completely leaving no survivors and property worth millions reduced to ashes. A forty year old woman and her for children burnt beyond recognition.

Tension among the members of the public began spreading after it was realized that the incident was no accident, the suspected arsonist, a woman said to have been on a revenge mission in a suspected love triangle.

Angary residents hunted the suspect down killed her and burnt her house, as just as a few hundred meters away from Bulapesa cemetery, grave diggers were preparing a grave that the five bodies would be laid to rest an hour later.

Abdi Duba a relative said the family and neighbors made efforts to fight the flames but it was too much for them to deal with, and the firefighting department did not respond.

Calls for peace and reduced tensions was the first action that the elders from the area have had to do immediately after the five bodies were laid to rest.

Abdi Dida the are chief confirming the incident adding that quick action had been taken to protect the children of the suspect who were at the school as the drama was unfolding. Roumour started spreading that some youths were planning to cause harm to them.

Dida called for restraint among the youth and the general public to give room for authorities to do their work, a call that came too late with the body of the suspect burning to ashes a few hundred meters from the cemetery where he spoke to the press.
